MBA Team Consulting Program
Since 1971, hundreds of businesses, large and small, have discovered this unique, university-based resource that delivers professional and cost effective consulting services. The MBA Team Consulting Program brings the knowledge and experience of seasoned MBA students to bear on a challenge or problem identified by a client company. Students get the opportunity to sharpen their problem-solving and team-building skills; the sponsoring company receives a detailed report full of insightful analysis and valuable recommendations. To date, Rutgers students have completed more than fifteen hundred projects for a wide range of clients including Fortune 50 companies, privately held firms, not-for-profits, state agencies, municipalities, and entrepreneurs.

Center for Management Development (CMD)
Since its founding in 1947, CMD has been assisting organizations and professionals to grow by developing and delivering innovative training solutions that build and strengthen managerial skills. Drawing on faculty experts from Rutgers Business School and the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, CMD offers both open enrollment certificate programs, like the popular MiniMBA, and custom programs tailored to fit your needs and delivered at your place of business.
New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC)
Founded in 1977, the NJSBDC network is composed of a headquarters, which is housed at Rutgers Business School in Newark, and 11 full-service regional centers and 16 affiliate offices that are located throughout the state. Center staff assist clients in exploring their business ideas, developing and assessing their business plans, making cash flow projections and accurate financial statements, and formulating marketing strategies. International trade, government procurement, technology commercialization, e-commerce, and information services specialty programs are coordinated from the center’s headquarters.
Rutgers University Technical Assistance Program (RUTAP)
RUTAP provides technical assistance to non-profit groups, community based organizations, and government agencies, helping them to develop plans to achieve their own economic goals, including the creation of sustainable jobs in economically distressed areas. The program provides access to specialized expertise in the following areas: creating strategic alliances between profit and non-profit organizations, using the internet for economic development, and demanufacturing.
