RBS Student Organizations want YOU!

September 11, 2009

Have you thought of becoming more involved this semester? Further your education outside of the classroom and establish contacts within the business industry by joining one or more of the student organizations at Rutgers Business School. These organizations offer valuable professional development opportunities that will give you a distinct competitive edge as you prepare to begin your career.

The clubs aim to prepare students entering the job market, through activities such as workshops in resume-building and resume-writing, preparing for a job interview dressing for the profession, and mock interviews, as well as opportunities to meet representatives from major companies who are invited to speak and answer questions pertaining to today’s job market.

“The MBA student organizations are the pulse of the MBA program,” said LaToya Battle-Brown,
Assistant Dean and Director of MBA Student Services. “Involvement in the MBA student organizations is important because it enhances their experience at RBS. The students that participate and lead our organizations bring not only social diversity, but also a greater sense of community to our program."
